1951 Other Makes Supreme on 2040-motos

  We ran this bike previously and had to pull it because of estate paperwork and red tape. We didn't have a clear and notarized title... we do now! I'm a motorcycle expert and work and build on them for a living. I'm not an ebay expert however, so bare with me and ask if you have any questions! I have been asked by the estate to sell this bike and handle the transaction. During the last week the bike has switched principle owners due to legal inheritance and the new relisting has been revised to reflect the new owners expectations.   This 1951 Ambassador Supreme, Villiers powered 197cc 2 stroke, British Motorcycle is uber rare and considered to be the Rolls Royce of motorcycles in it's day! They were overbuilt and very pricey for the times, which eventually spelled the end for this incredibly well crafted machine! This one is fresh out of a private collection in Southern California, where it has spent decades stored for viewing only.

  The engine and carb were recently sent back to the Villiers people for a full rebuild and restoration, including new cables. The crate from Villiers and the shipping info are included in the sale, The engine is new and never driven, except test run by the factory. The bike is original and unrestored and is in excellent original condition! It has the factory original tool boxes on each side, center stand and rear plunger style suspension. The seat looks and feels like it was made yesterday... it's unbelievable! The kick starter lever, fuel cap and fuel line couplers are on order and I will forward them on to the lucky buyer of this gorgeous piece of British Motorcycling history. The exhaust and exhaust compression ring (it holds the exhaust pipe on the engine) just arrived and I will install them this week. This bike really must be seen to be believed in person!
