Other Other description

Up for sale is my 1998 ATK 600. The previous owner had extensive engine work performed by Hanson Racing Technology in Chico (porting, etc.). I've cleaned up a number of issues. Rebuilt the forks including new external and internal bushings as well as seals. Replaced brake fluid in both brakes. Front caliper was seized when I got it. Now free and clear. Did some repair to swingarm including welding the side stand back on. New chain. New fenders and side panels. Old front fender and side panels included. Has Baja kit. Head light works (hi and lo beam) even though it is cracked. Neither tail light nor turn signals are installed but are included. Bought it with the intent to convert to a dual sport. I'm going in a different direction. The only thing I didn't address was the teflon ring for the front brake line. Right now I have a zip-tie guiding the brake line (see picture). My loss is your gain. Has clear California title, green sticker good through June of 2014.  Those of you outside the "great state" of CA may be able to get this 600 plated.  I can include the Nevada plate if desired.  Indeed the previous owner lived for a while in Nevada.  He used the bike primarily as a commuter.  He also weighed about 300(+/-) pounds.  I weigh 130.  There is a new spring on the rear shock.  Forks appear to be sprung appropriately.  Suspension is appropriate for riders up to about 190 pounds.  Unsure of actual mileage.  But is MINIMAL since engine rebuild.

Other notable modifications by previous owner.  Battery and electric starter were removed to save weight.  If the bike is run daily or even every other day it starts first or second kick.  If a week or so, it is a three-to five kick start.

Winning bidder to deposit $200 (non-refundable) within 24 hours of the end of the auction.

Remainder to be paid by check or USPS money order.  If paying with a personal check, check must clear before motorcycle is shipped.  No exceptions so don't ask!

Out of state bidders: Call CZC trucking for door-to-door transport at 530-518-9119 and ask for Corey.  He's licensed and insured.  VERY REASONABLE RATES!  .

I reserve the right to end auction early as the ATK is for sale locally.
