I purchased this cool looking trike a couple years ago and have used it very little. The trike is built for a bigger person than I, but I thought I could make the modifications I needed - not so. Unfortunately, my situation has changed and I have neither the time nor inclination to do any more work on it and I don't want to see it sit this winter when someone might have time to bring it back.

This trike is built on the frame of a 1972 VW autostick. I bought it from a VW guy in Missouri who had other nice VW projects on site. It ran beautifully when I got it, the controls are just too far apart for my hand size. While riding it last Fall the bolts holding the flex plate to the torque converter flew out. Trike ceased to move, so I had it towed home. I looked for months and finally found a VW mechanic who could do the repair properly. He did. Nice job...

Unfortunately, he wasn't very good with the wiring and pulled it all apart. Brought the trike back on a trailer with the battery out. At this point I don't care to learn VW wiring. There may be nothing to it but reconnecting the battery. I have too much going on to find out. For that reason I am selling this trike as a project vehicle. I make no warranties as to its operation. I have copious pictures and every manual one could ever want for this year Volkswagon which shall go with it.

It has low miles on this build and a clean Illinois title. I has a nice Audio system with a back up camera. It has only a driver's seat and is more like a station wagon. It's a head turner! Take a look - I am willing to take a loss to see it go to a home that will bring it back. Bring a trailer and a friend to pick it up. The dimensions: Wheelbase - 9ft 6 in.; Overall to tip of Exhaust - 12ft 7 in; Width to outside edge of rear tires - 6ft.
