Maico mc440 Motocross Bike has been restored using original parts where available. Bike is clean and runs perfect. New tires , stainless spokes, sprockets and chain, new fenders and plates, new cables and grips, Rims are nice, seat is original with 1 small tear in back and some wear against the tank. Tank is original,needs decals, Bing carb ,original exhaust and muffler,Motoplat, engine is excellent condition inside with mostly new parts where needed. Aluminum filter cage is custom made, original kicker and shift lever. Frame has 1 dent in bottom under ignition cover , bought the bike with this flaw so I don't know how it occurred. Cylinder has repair on bottom fin on right side. Frame has been painted. Tank is darker than plastic, Clarke tanks make replica tanks if needed.. Seat is original with some small tears in cover, 1 in back and next to tank, can be fixed easily. Exhaust has some dings but is solid and in very good condition otherwise. Forks are nice, 1 tube has some scuffing behind number plate and does not affect the action of the fork. Bike has original shocks that still work fine. shocks have been painted . Bike is super fast and turns under any new bike. Power is smooth and easy to ride fast , handling is superb. |
