1972 NORTON 750 COMMANDO Proper NUMBERS MATCHING. Bike shows 13,XXXX original miles but engine is far from stock. Beautiful, reliable, tight, vintage British motorcycle! Paint is perfect. Bike runs, rides and shifts EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! NO SMOKE, LEAKS or ISSUES WHATSOEVER. Starts on 1 kick every time. FAST, FAST MACHINE! Specs: * Steel braided oil lines and brake lines *Automatic camchain adjuster *Balanced/rebuilt engine .040" pistons with less than 500 mi. all new bearings *Manx style seat *Belt primary drive (Smooooooth clutch) *Rearsets (1 down/3up) *Japanese switches with master cylinder (better bore for better front braking) *Steering dampener *Hi output (3 phase) alternator *Strengthened/modified engine cradle support *36 mm. Mikuni carburetor conversion *Halogen HI/LO headlight conversion (HUGE improvement over Lucas) Clear INDIANA title (to me) in hand. Bike is licensed and insured to me. This is my personal motorcycle. I just spent the day on it and clocked 230 miles without 1 single issue. Bike always performs perfectly and dependable, I am passionate about it. This is more of a "Hot Rod" with riding/performance upgrades rather than a "Restoration". A purist will spend far too much time picking it apart rather than riding and enjoying it. The new headquarters of Norton Motorcycles has officially opened
Mon, 22 Nov 2021The British motorcycle manufacturer announced the opening of the plant in Solihull and the readiness to produce up to 8,000 motorcycles per year. Not only production is located at the new location: from now on, the R&D department, the design center, and offices are based in Solihull. Moreover, it will also have its own showroom, a small museum and even a motorcycle service center.

Fri, 14 Sep 2012Moto Electra has found a new, innovative way to combine old and new technologies in its electric race bike. The Virginia-based Moto Electra has been an active participant in electric motorcycle racing for the last few years, competing against much larger, better funded teams with a race bike using an electric motor and 1950s Norton Featherbed frame. That melding of old and new has produced surprising results, including podium finishes in the TTXGP and victory in a race featuring both electric and gas-powered motorcycles.
Arai unveil limited edition 2010 TT RX-7GP
Thu, 25 Mar 2010ARAI HAS launched a 2010 Isle of Man TT tribute RX-7 GP with a limited run of just 500 helmets.This black and white helmet design features the famous Isle of Man three-legged symbol in bronze and the famous TT letters. The design is the first in a series of three to be released by Arai. Bueys of series one will automatically be offered the chance to purchase series two and three before they go out for general sale.UK pricing and availability has yet to be announced, but the helmet will retail for 899 euros in Europe and £700 in the UK.The Isle of Man TT organisation will receive a commission for every helmet sold and the marshals will use the TT series for promotion.
