UP FOR BID IS THIS 1975 NORTON MKIII ELECTRIC START  850 INNERSTATE   PROJECT. I PICKED THIS BIKE UP IN MICH A COUPLE YRS BACK WITH BIG PLANS FOR A FULL RESTO. BUT I HAVENT GOT THERE SO I'M OFFERING IT UP HERE.

THIS IS A ALL MATCHING NUMBERS BIKE WITH CLEAR MICH TITLE

ACTUAL MILES UNKOWN THE GAUGES I PICKED UP ON HERE ALONG WITH OTHER BITS.

MOTOR TURNS OVER WITH FAIR COMPRESSION TRANS SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD. CLUTCH WORKS .  BUT LIKE I SAID ITS A PROJECT WHEN I GOT IT I WAS TOLD THAT IT HAD A WIRING HARNESS FIRE IN THE EARLY 80'S IT WAS TAKEN APART TO REPLACE HARNESS TANK AND SEAT BUT GOT PUT ON HOLD, AND THERE SHE SAT UNTIL I GOT IT. IT HAS NICE BORRONNI WHEELS AND A NEW REPO(I THINK) SEAT ,I PICKED UP SOME INNERSTATE SIDE COVERS AND NEW HEADLIGHT EARS AND SOME OTHER MISC LITTLE THINGS.

BIKE WILL NEED AT MINNIUM TO BE THROUGHLY GONE OVER WIRED, REBUILD BRAKES & LINES,TIRES ??

SO AGAIN THIS IS A NON RUNNING PROJECT 1975 NORTON 850 ELECTRIC START MKIII  WITH CLEAR MICH TITLE  AND YES THE STARTER WORKS!!!!!!

Production of 650cc Norton models will start at the end of next year

In addition to the release of V4 and Commando models, the British plan to expand their lineup. The Norton V4 and Commando motorcycles, presented to the public in 2018, will not start rolling off the assembly line until the end of 2021. This is primarily due to the fact that Norton, owned by the Indian company TVS, is currently busy transferring production from Donnington Hall to Solihull.

Arai unveil limited edition 2010 TT RX-7GP

ARAI HAS launched a 2010 Isle of Man TT tribute RX-7 GP with a limited run of just 500 helmets.This black and white helmet design features the famous Isle of Man three-legged symbol in bronze and the famous TT letters. The design is the first in a series of three to be released by Arai. Bueys of series one will automatically be offered the chance to purchase series two and three before they go out for general sale.UK pricing and availability has yet to be announced, but the helmet will retail for 899 euros in Europe and £700 in the UK.The Isle of Man TT organisation will receive a commission for every helmet sold and the marshals will use the TT series for promotion.

Norton reveals plans for the future

According to unofficial information, the plant plans to produce a sportbike that can compete with the Ducati 1299 Panigale and Superleggera IS. Norton's head of design, Simon Skinner, revealed that the bike will be powered by a brand new V4 1200cc engine and 200+ horsepower.
