TIMS has an extremely rare (only about 50 imported in the us ) 2003 moto guzzi rosso corsa edition v11 lemans that is virtually brand new--it only has 2600 miles on it and i put 340 of it on this past weekend on a trip in the mountains--it handles superb with the front and rear ohlins set up and stops on a dime with the brembo brakes and braided lines---it runs absolutely perfect and does not have any flaws in it anywhere--its a museum quality bike or a virtually brand new rider---it comes with both the factory seat with matching cowl and a tri color corbin seat as well--the clip ons and rear sets have been replaced with tubular bars and better sitting rear sets and all the original clip on and rear sets parts are included if you choose to put it back to original--it has almost new tires on it and a power commander tuned to make the fast by ferrachi exhaust sound great,and i was told it made just over 100 hp on the dyno at time of installation--it comes with all 3 service manuals,a parts cd,warranty/service and owners manuals and a clear recall sheet that was checked in 2012 with no recalls on this model-you want find a cleaner lower mileage one of these anywhere so dont miss out on it---i will assist with shipping anywhere at buyers expense--comes with a new moto guzzi t shirt and coffee mug as well

Piaggio Multimedia Platform iPhone Connectivity Announced for Piaggio X10 Maxi-Scooter
Thu, 05 Jul 2012Piaggio announced a new iPhone connectivity system set to debut on its new X10 maxi-scooter. The Piaggio Multimedia Platform (PMP) will be available as a kit for the 125cc, 350cc and 500cc versions of the Piaggio X10, and eventually may be introduced to other models in the Piaggio Group (which would include the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa.) Designed by Re:Lab, the PMP system turns an iPhone into an onboard computer and secondary display. The kit mounts the iPhone over the Piaggio insignia on the center of the X10′s handlebar which, from the rider’s perspective, puts it just below the scooter’s standard instruments.
Piaggio Reports Q1 2012 Results
Tue, 08 May 2012Increased scooter sales offset a drop in motorcycle sales, but both segments reported increases in net sales for the Piaggio Group in the first quarter of 2012. According to Piaggio‘s first quarter report, the Group sold 9,400 motorcycles worldwide, down 8.2% from the 10,300 units sold in the same quarter last year. Scooter sales however saw a 7.9% increase to 79,200 units from 73,400 units.
Piaggio Opening New Design Center in US
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Piaggio announced it is opening a new design center in Pasadena, Calif., to be headed by Aprilia RSV4 designer Miguel Galluzzi. Roberto Colaninno, chairman and chief executive officer of the Piaggio Group, announced plans for the new Advanced Design Center at a dealer convention for the Piaggio Group Americas in Miami, Fla. At the moment, North American customers usually have to wait a little longer before they receive new Piaggio models, with most models arriving on these shores months after they are available in Europe.
