Moto Guzzi Griso description

Own this unique, sexy Italian motorcycle! With the improved 8 valve, 1200cc engine, the Moto Guzzi Griso consistently tops the magazine comparo's vs. the R9T and other similar "power roadsters." This bike is in excellent condition, with new tires (under 500 miles wear), a new OEM Yuasa battery, and an accessory Moto Guzzi tail rack and tail bag, worth a combined $275.

Surprisingly nimble for sport riding due to the wide flat bars, but with a comfortable riding position that makes it a capable sport-tourer (emphasis on the "sport") as well. This bike is a head-turner, and the torquey, transverse mounted V-twin motor gives it a riding character than few bikes in its class can match.

Garage kept for its entire life and professionally maintained by Fast By Ferracci and Hamlin Motorsports. Shaft drive means no more messy chain lube or adjustments. I have the title in hand and it's ready to go. Only (reluctantly) parting with this bike because I am interested in an ADV style bike for urban commuting due to a recent move.

Tue, 13 Nov 2012

Last week, we got a peak at the new touring version of the Moto Guzzi California 1400, the new flagship cruiser from the Italian brand. Piaggio has now presented the new California 1400 at the 2012 EICMA Show in both its touring trim and the custom version pictured above. The new Moto Guzzi California 1400 is powered by a 1380cc V-Twin engine, which Piaggio claims is the largest V-Twin produced by an European manufacturer.

2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 Revealed in Touring Guise

Fri, 09 Nov 2012

Photographs of the final production touring version of the Moto Guzzi California 1400 have emerged, just days before the bagger’s impending debut at the 2012 EICMA show. The 2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 will come equipped with ride-by-wire throttle, switchable maps, ABS, traction control and cruise control, making it perhaps the most technologically-advanced Moto Guzzi ever developed. Powering the California 1400 is an air/oil-cooled 1380cc V-Twin engine mounted longitudinally in Moto Guzzi fashion.

New Moto Guzzi Microwebsite a One-stop Portal for Guzzi Fans Old and New

Thu, 17 May 2012

Guzzis aren’t for everyone, and Guzzisti are quite okay with that fact. While Moto Guzzi recognizes the dedication of Guzzi devotees, it also recognizes that it needs to grow the brand. Moto Guzzi USA, the North American importer of the Moto Guzzi brand, has announced a new “micro” site for Guzzis. The site, www.motoguzzioriginals.com, is part eye candy (actually, it’s very eye candy), part history, part marketing tool.
