Moto Guzzi Eldorado description

Superb, NO RESERVE, 1972 front disc 1000cc Eldorado. Runs strong, reliable and fast, I would drive this bike from Chicago to New York or L.A. with no worry. Tuned and garaged every year. Originally purchased from Strom Cycle in Ft. Worth TX in 1972. Strom put on the following items when the goose was new: ride-off stand, Wixom saddle bags, heel/toe shifter, Norton front disc brake, Stewart-Warner oil and amp gauges, Harley spotlights, solo seat, Harley tail & turn lights, front fender light, 5.10 – 16 tires with steel-chromed rims, back fender guard, dual chrome horns, floorboards, helmet lock and handlebar dual choke lever. Everything works perfectly! Sits low and commanding as the wider tires work best with the original fenders. I purchased this beauty from original owner in Tyler TX and drove it back to Chicago with only 13k original miles in July of 2000. I had Triple O Cycle put on the Gilardoni nikasil 1000cc kit with new rings, valves, valve seats and guides, K&N filters and Franconi mufflers in 2005. New Dunlop tires and Front suspension rebuild: new dampers, seals and rear drive + trans rebuild in 2012 by Rosefarm Classics.

Comfy passenger pillion seat easily connects to frame over backfender and National Cycle Police  windshield easily connects to front forks, both included in this sale along with all-weather cover. VIN numbers match on the frame and the engine. 30mm Dellorto carbs with K&N filters and Tomaselli dual cable throttle. I have all original keys for everything.

The bike is in excellent condition and engine runs strong. This auction may end sooner as the bike is for sale locally.

Full payment is required within 3 days of auction close by cashier’s check or money order.

Questions?  Email me before bidding. I will answer all questions. Any questions submitted over the weekend will be answered first thing Monday morning. Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. Bike and clear title will be released immediately after full payment is made.
