distance. It is a combination of unmatched Italian style and
performance. I have taken what is widely recognized as the best cruiser available and maximized it to the highest level in three areas: Performance, Suspension, and Cosmetics. PERFORMANCE: This Bike Flies 1. Guzzi Tech Fueling Kit with Power Commander V and Auto Tune 300; 2. Guzzi Tech Modified Airbox Lid; 3. La Franconi Performance slip-ons with cats removed, (sounds fantastic!); Slip-ons have been polished to match the look of the stock mufflers, (Slip-ons are from the Guzzi Catalog); 4. Guzzi Tech GT-RX H Pipe (lifetime warranty) This bike has loads of horsepower and torque, and runs smoothly from idle to redline,with beautiful throttle response. Modifications have resulted in a 20 hp increase and a 20 lb feet torque increase as measured on a dyno at the rear wheel. Motor runs 40 degrees cooler as a result of these modifications. 1. Piaggio Reports First Half 2011 Results
Wed, 27 Jul 2011The Piaggio Group reported slight increases in net sales and net profit over the first six months of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010. Net sales increased 1.1% to 830 million euros (US$1.19 billion) over the first six months of 2011, compared to 820 million euros (US$1.18 billion) in the first half of 2010. Piaggio reported a net profit of 33.3 million euros (US$47.9 million), a slight increase from the net profit of 33.1 million euros (US$47.6 million) reported last year.
Vespa 946 Production Model Confirmed for North America
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Piaggio confirmed it will be importing the production version of its Vespa 946 (a.k.a. the “Quarantasei“) to North America, representing the next generation of scooters from the iconic Italian brand. The 946 was presented alongside the Aprilia Caponord 1200 and Moto Guzzi California 1400 at Piaggio’s North American dealer meeting last week in Miami.
