Moto Guzzi 850T description

1975 MG 850T with Internal Oil Filter – Clean Title

Complete top end rebuild, incl. Gilardoni Piston Set, Timing Chain & Tensioner, VHB Carbs rebuilt, Front/RMS/Fork seals replaced, Clutch assembly, Gearbox rebuilt by Charlie Cole, Speedo/Tach rebuilt by Palo Alto, Steering/ Wheel/Swing Arm bearings, Charging System, Mistral Exhaust, Cush Drive Rubber Kit and low mileage Metzler tires.

Frame under gas tank is chipped and some scratches in the inside collar of the gas tank where it rubs from removing and re-installing it. Otherwise very few scratches or nicks.  I would rate the overall condition between 7.5 to 8.0.  It is a head turner yet still a rider's bike.

Naturally as a private seller and the bike being 40 years old, there is no warranty nor returns accepted.  All sales are final.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs or local pickup.

Thanks for looking!  Happy Bidding!

One thing I forgot to add- all of the charging components are new as well. It also has been upgraded with an Eastern Beaver fuse box. I didn't replace the harnesses or any wiring from previous owner. Kept it the way it was,  It works fine so I didn't feel the need to redo it.

Not to be left out of the 2013 EICMA show announcements, Moto Guzzi has announced its changes for the three models that make up the V7 line. Known for their 1970s-inspired style, the V7s are built, according to Moto Guzzi press materials, “to three fundamental pillars: the 90° transverse V-twin, the timeless double cradle frame and the renowned cardan shaft final drive.” Well, one of these pillars gets a functional update for 2014. The engine now utilizes a wet flywheel instead of the previous dry alternator.
