1964 Moto Guzzi 125 Sport on 2040-motos

1964 (?) Moto Guzzi Stornello 125 Sport. Two things to note right away: first this bike came to me out of Georgia which is a no-title state for bikes this old, therefore it DOES NOT have a title. I had to enter something in the space to complete the listing. Second: these bikes were made in this same model from '61-'68 and, though the previous owner listed it as a '64 on the bill of sale, I cannot verify that. I bought this little gem just a few days ago (in a weak moment of lust) and realized, after getting it home, that I already have too many projects. Therefore, I am basically just trying to get my investment back. Now for the particulars: Someone has started a restoration of sorts on the bike. They had the paint work done (nice, but not show quality, look at pics). The handle bars and headlight rim have been rechromed. The tires are new. Again look at pics and judge accordingly. Now for the bad: the transmission is currently stuck in 3rd gear and the kick lever return spring is apparently broken since the lever will not return. I think both these issues will require splitting the case to repair. With these repairs done, I believe this would be a very nice little vintage bike, but I really should spend that time on the other numerous projects I already have underway. The gent I bought it from heard it run and said the motor ran just fine ( again, I am just repeating what I was told by the guy I got it from, who seemed honest).
