Modular frame with tubular steel trellis section and aluminium plates to provide high torsional rigidity Single-sided swing arm with preload-adjustable shock, 50 mm upside-down fork and new Lithium Ion Battery still to be installed plus Front and Rear wheel sliders for protection. *ABS braking system with radial front calipers. This ABS versions incorporating two riding modes: Normal and Race Mode, the unit employed is the Bosch 9 MP, the market leader offering the maximum performance in the lightest and most compact package which makes it the ideal unit to incorporate into the limited amount of available space on the Brutale. The Bosch ABS unit incorporates internal pressure sensors which work together with the independent wheels speed sensors to give the internal control system the required vehicle information. In order to offer the maximum liberty to all riders, the ABS system can be deactivated by the rider by way of the vehicle control software via the menu in the speedometer. Considering the season has already started with the Phillip Island round in Australia, one in which team Supersport rider Jules Cluzel won aboard his F3 675 after two of the leaders crashed out, this “news” doesn’t is a little late.
2013 MV Agusta Brutale 1090 Lineup Gets Adjustable ABS

The addition of ABS should come as no surprise, considering the European Union’s recent move to make the technology mandatory for all new models larger than 125cc by 2016. The 2013 MV Agusta Brutale 1090, 1090 R and 1090 RR will be available with the Bosch 9MP, an ABS that’s becoming popular with a number of manufacturers due to its lightweight and compact packaging.

Thu, 06 Oct 2011MV Agusta has announced the 2012 edition of its F4 sportbike featuring the new “Corsa Corta” engine from the F4 RR. The 2012 MV Agusta F4 R Corsa Corta engine has a 79mm bore and a stroke of 50.9mm, compared to the 76mmx55mm engine found on the previous F4, last updated in 2010. The engine uses titanium valves, a first for production engines, and is paired to a new 4-2-1-4 exhaust with the F4′s signature underseat pipes. According to MV Agusta, the new Corsa Corta engine produces 195 hp at 13,000 rpm and 82.6 ft-lb.
