Up for bids is an 88cc Lifan motor, with a Honda manual clutch installed, and a lighting stator for a headlight/taillight. Motor runs good, has real good power, but does have a small hairline crack in two places. This motor came on a Z50R that I bought, and I noticed it leaking a little bit of oil. I pulled it out, cleaned it up, and put JB Weld over the crack. That worked good for almost a year, but I noticed it's leaking again. I was going to redo it, but I have quite a few of these bikes, with a few spare motors around, so decided I'd put it on ebay instead. I tried to be as detailed as possible with the pics, but feel free to ask any questions before bidding.

American Lifan Fined $630,000 by EPA, Pays Additional Bond for Future Vehicles
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Chinese motorcycle importer American Lifan agreed to pay a $630,000 civil penalty for the illegal import and sale of 28,000 vehicles that did not comply with federal emission standards. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, Dallas-based American Lifan imported and sold 28,000 streetbikes and scooters, recreational vehicles and engines produced in China but were not compliant with the Clean Air Act. American Lifan also agreed to post a bond worth between $300,000 and $500,000 to cover any potential penalties for future models imported though the 2016 model year.

In order to improve environmental performance, the younger model, the KPT 200, received a smaller displacement engine - 149 cc and, correspondingly, the new name: KPT 150.
