Here is a beautiful 2009 Kymco Xciting 250i scooter!
it was my late Grandfather's and he was the original owner. it was well taken care of since he was a motorcycle mechanic. all services are up to date and it has a new battery. I have recently ridden it myself and can attest to it being in great working order. it was garage kept its entire life. my Grandfather was the owner of Rat Race auto and cycle a company that made accesories and repairs on mostly BMW motorcycles; this Kymco scooter bears the last made RatRace cruise control on the right handle bar (see pics) it is an automatic transmission and has lots and lots of storage space. (more that most motorcycles) It comes with the custom tall windshield (installed) and the original short "smoke" colored windshield (see pics) it also comes with a motorcycle cover (pictured) that is really nice and fits well. The bike only has one small scratch on the right rear fender. the $500 deposit is non refundable. AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success
Mon, 29 Jul 2013AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.
Kymco to Supply BMW with i3 Electric Car Range Extender and New 400cc Scooter Engine
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The automotive world has been buzzing of late about BMW‘s upcoming i3 electric car having an optional range extending gas-powered motorcycle engine. As our sister site Autoguide.com reports, the i3 will be available with an optional two-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine to power a generator which can recharge the electric motor and extend the vehicle’s range to 250 miles compared to a range of 60-90 miles relying just on the battery. It turns out that two-cylinder motorcycle engine will actually be provided to BMW by Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco.
Kymco USA President and CEO Eric Bondy Steps Down

Bondy is leaving Kymco to explore a new, but unspecified, opportunity, but will remain with the company until Dec. 15 to help ensure a smooth transition.
