Kymco Quannon 150 Unveiled
Tue, 30 Dec 2008Taiwan-based Kymco unveiled three new products earlier this month at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA., including the Quannon 150. The air-cooled 149.3cc single-cylinder sportbike weighs 299 lbs and produces 14 hp allegedly allowing it to reach speeds of 72 mph. Speed is unlikely to be the main goal for beginners or commuters who purchase such a bike, but the claimed 70-75 mpg fuel efficiency will surely strike their fancy.
Kymco DTX 125: another adventure scooter will appear in Europe
Fri, 24 Sep 2021Almost a year ago, Kymco presented its first DTX 360 crossover scooter, and just the other day it became known that Kymco introduced its younger brother DTX 125, which is declared as a 2022 model in Europe. it is equipped with a 125 cc liquid-cooled engine that develops a maximum power of 13 hp at 8750 rpm. The decrease in cubic capacity also affected the mass of the device: the DTX 125 "lost" to 176 kg.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success
Mon, 29 Jul 2013AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.
