Kawasaki Z1 900 description

You are bidding on an original 1980 Z1 Classic 900 first year fuel injection, bike was parked running about 10 years back I was told. LOW ONLY 9500 miles. Been stored most of its life.

I am second owner, first owner won it at drag races in Oklahoma back in 1980 brand new. The motor kicks over with good compression. Bike pushes and rolls and is being sold as is pictured. I believe the front brake even still works as well as the rear brake. I have no tried to start it, I am leaving this up to the next owner. I am sure it need tank cleaned, inside cruddy, as well as it has keys but  I can not get ignition to turn on with keys. Overall it is pretty straight and clean, would make a good rider once you get it running or a great restoration candidate. This bike does not run and has NO title. I can provide bill of sale.

I sell all my motorcycle WORLDWIDE, INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WELCOME, only if you are serious.

Please contact me with any questions. Bike is located in Wichita, KS zip 67226 for shipping quotes. All shipping is 100% buyers responsibility. I can store bike for free for 1 month and storage fees apply after 1 month.

A $500 non refundable paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end and rest is due via paypal, cash or certified overnight bank check within 3 days. Contact me before bidding if you need assistance otherwise.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding, this bike is 36 years old about and is not perfect or new, it is used and been sitting, will take work Id assume before just riding it. No battery in it.

Good luck, NO RESERVE AUCTION!  Thanks.  Bid fast and high, as I will take private email offers worldwide or locally I may sell for cash. This bike is desirable to many wanting to finish their collection. Good luck.

On Jun-16-16 at 04:52:44 PDT, seller added the following information:

Please note this is a classic z1 1000g not a 900. It's called to most a z1 classic so most would think it's a 900 engine but technically it's a 1050cc displacement engine like the kz1000. Sold as is regardless. If you are buying this bike you probably know the rarity and what your buying anyways. Any bids after $550 assumes the responsibility of this revision. Thanks.

Kawasaki has chosen the 2014 American International Motorcycle Expo as the venue to make the world debut of a yet unannounced motorcycle model. The model launch will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, this October 16-19.  “AIMExpo demonstrated last year that it can serve as the ideal platform for media and brand activities and Kawasaki will leverage this grand stage to reveal new products, as well as interact closely with dealers and consumers,” explains Kevin Allen, Kawasaki Manager, PR + Brand Experience. “We have some very exciting new product to share and AIMExpo is the perfect place to make these announcements.” Attendees will also witness the North American introduction of all-new vehicles in several categories from Kawasaki. Following the unveilings, all products will then be on full display for all to see inside Kawasaki’s booth (#2165) out on the AIMExpo show floor.  “Kawasaki joins an expanding list of key companies that sees AIMExpo as the perfect means to infuse energy into the powersports business in North America,” says Larry Little, Vice President and General Manager, Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
