Update: Bike Stolen On ‘Round The World Adventure Recovered!
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.

Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
