2009 KAWASAKI VULCAN 500 LTD EN500 This 500 was just traded-in. It is in fair condition and has low miles 3K. The bike is completely stock. It has been dropped a couple times on each side. The damage is is only cosmetic. The tank has a dent on the right side. The tank emblem is damaged on the left side. The exhaust mufflers both have some scratches on the ends. (see pictures) Nothing is bent or broken. I have detailed and safety checked the bike. I will be installing a new front tire as it has some rot and new front brakes. The rear tire and brakes are fine with the tread on the tire like new and no rot. I have cleaned the carburetors. All the lights, horn and gauges work 100%. I have taken this Vulcan on a reliability run and the engine, clutch and transmission all work and sound as they should. Sykes Staying with Kawasaki Through 2016 WSBK Season
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes has signed a contract extension with Kawasaki to see him continue to ride for Team Green through the 2016 season. Sykes, who currently holds a 44-point lead over Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli with three rounds remaining in the season, has been with Kawasaki since 2010. Since hopping on board the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, Sykes has won 22 WSBK races and holds a record for 23 Superpoles in the current qualifying format.
WSBK to Make Fake Headlight Stickers Mandatory for 2013
Fri, 29 Jun 2012World Superbike racebikes will be required to have fake headlight stickers on their race fairings to more closely resemble their production series counterparts. The new regulation, set to kick in for the 2013 WSBK season, was designed to establish a closer link between the production model and the race-trim superbike. The new rules will also mandate 17-inch aluminum wheels.

Mon, 02 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won a historic Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2014 Isle of Man TT week. Riding the S1000RR, Dunlop secured BMW its first win on the Isle of Man since Georg Meier won on a Type 255 Kompressor in 1939. After catching early leader James Hillier of the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team on the opening lap, Dunlop continued to set an impressive first lap time of 17:11.107, which translates to a record average speed of 131.730 mph on the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.
