Very clean bike! This bike has been accessorized to be a fully functional touring bike. Only reason it is being sold is because current owner is getting a little old and has bad knees and is retiring from riding. Accessories on the bike are:
Bike is well maintained. It has a new drive belt, like new tires and recently serviced. This bike has electronic fuel injection and a liquid cooled motor. It is equipped with a backup cooling fan if you happen to be sitting in traffic. It also has a trip-o-meter and fuel gauge. Once all accessories are included this bike is valued at more than $9,000 by Kelly Blue Book. Will sell for much less though. Buyer is responsible for all arrangements for pickup. 2014 Kawasaki KLR650 New Edition Revealed
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Kawasaki revealed an updated version of its popular KLR650 dual-sport at the New York International Motorcycle Show. The new KLR650 isn’t exactly a full model-year replacement as Kawasaki had already announced the 2014 model; instead Kawasaki is calling it the KLR650 New Edition, offering it for a retail price of $6,599, a $100 premium over the “old edition” KLR650. The extra Benjamin Franklin gets you new springs for both front and rear suspension, multi-contour dimpled seat and revised graphics.

Mon, 23 Jul 2012Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.
Kawasaki Reveals Supercharged Inline-Four Engine
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Kawasaki announced it is developing what it calls the world’s first supercharger developed by a motorcycle manufacturer. The giant Japanese company called on its extensive experience in working with turbine engines, and distilled the technology for motorcycle applications, showing a supercharged Inline-Four engine at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. No details were given on the size of the sample engine, though diagrams included in Kawasaki’s patent applications for motorcycle superchargers include one image that looks vaguely similar to the Ninja ZX-14R.
