Kawasaki Vulcan description

This bike has been with me at least 12-15 years and has only been run minimally each year due to my busy schedule and amount of bikes I own. Has very new tires with maybe 500 miles on them. Newer battery about 4 months old. Has always started and run fine for me. Upgrades as follows:

Floorboard foot rests

Corbin seat

Vance & Hines pipes

Extra front lighting

Windshield

Small saddle bags

I also have a backrest for it not shown in pictures. Only selling due to a crowded garage as I have many bikes and I have upcoming projects that interest me more. Please ask any questions and be aware that I can help with meeting a shipper, but the expense is on you. Title is in my possession and free and clear. Oil changes were regular and I accidentally overfilled it last time and had to go back and drop the level. I have never had to put the bike in the shop and it has never had a tune up or any other shop work in all these years. I am the 2nd owner and the first owner repainted the bike and it has a few bubbles and cracks on the tank. I bumped the rear bumper years ago and had to do a small repair on the bottom edge of the rear fender. Recommend a repaint for perfection. I live about 15 miles from the ocean and I have noticed some bolts that could be replaced with stainless  steel or chrome. Longest ride I did on her was from San Diego to Couer' D Alene Idaho. Ran great no problems. Bike is being sold in as is condition and I just started and ran it about a week ago. It is a nice cruiser and she will be missed but racing and other street bikes have taken over in importance. Best of luck and bid away...

The Best Racetrack You’ve Never Heard Of

Sat, 08 Nov 2008

Last week I had the opportunity to ride one of the best tracks in the world, but you’ve probably never heard of it. It’s called the Autopolis International Racing Course and is located in northern Kyushu, Japan, a 90-minute bus ride from the nearest city, Kumamoto. Autopolis is a wonderfully flowing, 2.9-mile track that rises and falls like a symphonic overture, with inclines that range up to 7.2% uphill, 10% downhill.

Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of KX – Video

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

Kawasaki is marking the 40th anniversary of its KX dirt bike lineup with a special web page and a new documentary (look for Part 1 below). The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.
