Kawasaki Other description

This is one of the most prestine h1 500 motorcycles that I have seen on Ebay or anywhere else for that matter. I purchased this bike from the origional owner. It is a matching #'s bike. It had chambers, non stock mirrors, pods and a custom seat. I wanted to return it back to it's original condition. Fortunately in 1977 when he took off the seat, air box and pipes he wrapped them up really good and put them in a nice warm dry place. There they sat for 35 years. I put all the origional parts back on the bike and it looks just like it rolled out of the local Kawasaki dealer. He did not have the origional mirrors so I put a pair of new "Kawasaki" brand replacements. It starts up on 1 or 2 likes and runs very well. all the electronics work correctly. The chrome looks like it's brand new even the pipes. The paint is outstanding. The seat looks like new with no rips, discoloration, scuffs or any imperfections. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner bike. I would discribe it as show room quality.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.

Schoolboy Heroes

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets.  Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force.  At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag.  Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125.  Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park.  I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed.  What and how do I become a motocross champion?
