Kawasaki Other description

Classic Kawasaki S3 400cc two stroke triple cylinder motorcycle in excellent running and cosmetic condition. The motorcycles of the 1970's were the most innovative in style, mechanical design and power sources. Kawasaki's legendary two stroke street bikes are notorious for it's amazing speed, power delivery and that unmistakable sound. This Kawasaki S3 is all original (even the burgundy metalflake paint and tires!) and has been sitting dormant in my garage for the last fifteen years! It has 9313 actual miles and has never been wrecked or damaged! I installed a new battery, plugs and rebuilt the carbs and, (after I remembered the kill switch) it started on the first kick! It now starts and runs flawlessly (no leaks) and is very fast with everything working (except the horn). The gas cap still functions but has broken in two parts. Notice the inside of the gas tank has been coated with Por 15 gas tank sealant. Also back in the day, I had installed new points (a feature which is more sought after than the later electronic ignition). The tank's original metalflake paint and graphics are bright and glossy but has many minor chips and scratches but nothing too distracting. The seat, exhaust pipes, grips, foot pegs, tail light, turn signal lens, switches, tachometer and speedometer are all undamaged but the plastic right side cover is cracked and faded. Overall, this bike is in unusually clean and sharp condition. Don't miss this opportunity to own a true classic, rarely found totally original and running condition and functioning like new with that unique two stroke acceleration! Clear title in my name.
