Vintage 1967 Kawasaki M1 650cc Megura Commander. Currently not running. I believe it is all or mostly there. The motor is seized, The brakes are swollen and stuck (working on that now). Very low production number bike (in the low 400s). The inside of the tank is quite clean, it has 1 dent (upper right). Should pop out. Odometer showing 13,999. Additional parts not on bike in last picture.I have the ignition key but No Title. Great project bike or for parts. Asking $1,900 or best fair offer. Please feel free to come and inspect the bike prior to making an offer or buying. I would prefer and encourage it. Can be seen most any time. Come by and lets talk. Isle of Man TT 2013: Lightweight TT Race Results
Fri, 07 Jun 2013James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.
EnduroCross Announces Rookies Class Instruction With Destry Abbott
Thu, 15 May 2014Three rounds of the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship will feature a special rookies class led by none other than Destry Abbott. These one-hour, on-track instructional sessions will take place on the Friday nights before the Sacramento, Atlanta and Salt Lake City events. So the first one is scheduled for Friday, June 20th prior to the Sacramento event.
AMA Pro SuperBike Heads To Road America For Round 2 Of AMA Pro Road Racing
Fri, 30 May 2014The 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season resumes this weekend with the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and all eyes will be on 21-year-old AMA Pro SuperBike rookie Cameron Beaubier on the No. 2 Monster Energy Graves Yamaha YZF-R1. Beaubier may be the new kid on the block, but he entered the season opener at Daytona International Speedway with high expectations.
