Kawasaki Other description

Here is probably one of the nicest KZ1000's around. As you can see by the pictures it is in extremely nice condition. The few minor defects it has are as follows: slight stain on the left side of gas tank (see picture), one very minor dent on the top of the tank (see picture),the tail fin has one small scratch, there is some slight surface rust on the bottom of the pipes but there are no holes. Comes complete with owner's manual, warranty card, and a complete tool kit including the feeler guage. This bike starts and runs fine, shifts through all the gears smoothly, and all the electrical functions properly. Both brakes work fine. Still has the original tires. Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of KX – Video

Kawasaki is marking the 40th anniversary of its KX dirt bike lineup with a special web page and a new documentary (look for Part 1 below). The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.
