Super sport touring motorcycle - with the emphasis on sport!  Purchased new 05/12, less than 6000 original adult-ridden miles.  The bike is just too much for a guy my age (that means very fast).  Appx 140 HP, 6-speed transmission, ABS, traction control, removeable locking saddlebags, electrically adjustable windscreen, heated grips, bars raised 1", pegs lowered 1".  If you want to read more details about the model, see Kawasaki's official blurb at http://www.kawasaki.com/products/product-specifications.aspx?id=486 or commercial stuff at http://ultimatemotorcycling.com/2011-kawasaki-concours-14-abs-preview/ or http://www.ridermagazine.com/manufacturer/kawasaki/riding-among-giants-on-a-2011-kawasaki-concours-14-abs-tour-test.htm/. Bike has never been dropped, fallen over, or wrecked.  Just serviced by a local dealer and the rear brake recall was performed.  Bid with confidence; I have a 100% eBay rating and will work to keep it that way.  Auction winner must provide a $500 deposit via PayPal within 72 hours of auction close or forfeit the motorcycle.  Full payment must be received within 10 days of auction close.  Prefer pickup (near Baltimore), but I will ship the bike for cost of the shipping plus $150.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
