2008 Kawasaki Nomad , Very comfortable, powerful, and reliable cruiser / tourer. Meticulously maintained with full synthetics and garage stored under cover. Has highway pegs, driver backrest, throttle lock, 12V outlet, LED flashing brake light, hard locking saddlebags with chrome top rails, Chrome bottom rails will be included as well - not currently installed. DMY trunk with wraparound backrest for the passenger and chrome rack on top. Custom built solid steel mounting plate for the trunk for a solid platform and safety for the passenger. New Metzler ME888 (with 800 miles on it) on the rear and Metzler ME880 (~2K miles) on the front. Recent full service completed. Blue / Silver beautiful two-tone paint scheme. Currently has a set of Clearwater Krista 2400 lumens (each) LED lights installed that are NOT included at this price. They can remain installed and fully functional for $600. The lights allow for great visibility, both for other drivers to see you and extreme nighttime riding visibility. 2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.

Tue, 09 Oct 2012You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
