Kawasaki Other description

Serviced and ready to go. It's time for me to say uncle at my age. The 14 is a great bike, super fast, handles great and is great a long distance bike.

I'm the second owner.  There are some scratches on the left side of the bike where it looks like it fell over, they're on the side view mirror, in the black, just

at paint line and on the lower fairing, on the black and on the bottom of the painted side air vent. You really have to look hard to see them when your standing

next to the bike. The left saddle bag has a couple of scrapes on the raised ridges, like they were scraped up next to something (about 3/4" long).

The mileage is 37782 now and will no doubt will be going up a little. Services that have been done: 32,300 mi. new spark plugs, 33,000 mi. valves adjusted

and done right. All the valves were adjusted to just below max spec. .009 on the exhaust and .006 intake, not like some people do if minimum goes it fly's (but not for long)

and a new factory air filter was installed at that time too. 33,600 mi new front and rear tires were mounted. A note about the rear tire, I bought them off of e-bay and

when I received them the rear tire was damaged, something heavy was set on it and it bent the bead on one side and I should have sent it back but the tires on the bike

were bald and I wanted to ride. I bent the bead back out and mounted the tire but it didn't seal and every four or five days the tire will loose about five psi. and needs to

be aired up. Lesson learned !

The bike has a Delkevic cat back exhaust (stock one also goes with bike), two locking helmet hooks, National V force windshield (stock low windshield also), 2" handle bar risers

with GPS mount ball, Low seat, which comes from the ZX 14 and the gray and white stock seat, a new never used K&N air filter, owner's manual and service manual on disc.

Everything works as it should on the bike, so buy it, fly in and ride it home !!

WSBK 2012: Assen Results

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. 2013 AMA Supercross Anaheim 2 Race Report

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Ryan Villopoto claimed his first win of the 2013 AMA Supercross season and his first since the knee injury at last year’s Seattle round that kept him out of the 2012 AMA Motocross championship. The victory in front of 37,789 fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., made up for his disappointing 16th place finish two weeks earlier at the same site. His Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Jake Weimer held the early advantage in the main event, taking the holeshot ahead of the Honda Muscle Milk duo of Justin Barcia and Trey Canard.
