Here it is. The Eliminator. Probably not another offered for sale in all of America right now. The Kawasaki ZL 1000. Fastest zero to 55 production motorcycle in the world in 1987. Only available for 2 yr(1986 & 1987), has the same engine as the Ninja 1000.This is a beautiful example. Currently registered in Arizona but located and offered for sale in San Diego. It has approx 33,000 original miles on it. I have just installed a replacement speedometer on it that shows lower miles and am installing a new speedometer cable.It comes with a wind screenthat works great for long rides - I have taken this bike on 2 to 3 week trips, loaded for camping and have had great times!Tires and everything else in terrific shape. Recently had front fork seals replaced. Have also had water pump replaced and have receipts for all work done. I have owned it for eight years. I replaced ther rear turn signals. It could use new front signals and standard headlamp bulb(brite light works fine).Available to show on weekends, would like to sell by 12/10/13. Price reduced! $2,750. Call.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
