1981 Kawasaki GPZ 550 with 13,300 miles in nice original condition. Classic sport bike with original paint that runs and rides great.
Many new parts including: Carbs cleaned / synced and jetted for the aftermarket Yosh exhaust New steering head bearings New clutch cable New clutch springs New spark plugs and wires Fresh oil change Original factory airbox Very nice example of this one year configuration of the GPZ with dual rear shocks ( 1982 changed to monoshock suspension design). Note: This bike is 35 years old and has not been restored so it has some minor flaws such as small crack in seat (pictured), small chips on some painted parts and some slight rust on head pipes - so it is NOT perfect , but still very nice for age. Clean Indiana title in my name , Located in Shelbyville Indiana. Buyers with any negative feedback or zero feedback will not be accepted without prior approval. Results From Day 1 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island
Mon, 17 Feb 2014Despite losing the World Supersport title last year to a hard-charging Sam Lowes, Mahi Racing Team India’s Kenan Sofuoglu, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R, hasn’t lost any of the pace that has made him the overwhelming favorite heading into 2014. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.

Fri, 07 Jan 2011We all like to save a shilling if we can, especially these days, but sometimes, doing a job yourself, cutting corners and generally grubbing round being tight fisted actually ends up costing you more money than biting the bullet and putting your hand a bit deeper into your pocket to get a proper job done. The problem is, I come from a long line of, erm, frugal Yorkshire b####rds going back generations, and I seem to be hardwired as a bit of a skinflint. My dad, although never actually short of money, that I could remember, didn’t like spending it.
WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point
Tue, 09 Oct 2012You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
