I Have A 1983 Kawasaki KZ 1000. Its A Good Bike. Runs well. I Cleaned Carbs. Changed Spark Plugs. This Year. It Also Has A Brand New Battery.. It Wll Oventually Need Tires But Are Ok For The Rest Of This Year And possibly Next. The Only Reason Im Selling It is Because Its To Tall For Me. im a short Guy. It Has nineteen Thousand miles and some change on it. The Exaust has holes drilled in the end of the baffles from previous owner.. It has a real mean growl.. The Bike Has alot Of Pep and flatt out moves. Has windsheld saddlebags, tool pouch in front, and backrest. Askng $2000 or best offer its a steal for this old and clean of a bike.. Chad Reed won his first race of the 2012 AMA Supercross season in Los Angeles but the victory was overshadowed by a first-lap collision that left Trey Canard and Ryan Morais with broken backs. Racing for Team Honda Muscle Milk, Canard was injured on the first lap after catching a piece of some signage. That forced him to single a triple jump, putting him in the path of Star Valli Yamaha rider Ryan Morais who landed on Canard from behind.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ground-breaking Kawasaki Z1 which made its public debut in 1972, becoming what many would regard as the world’s first superbike. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972  IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.
