NO RESERVE AUCTION HIGH BIDDER WINS THE BIKE. 1972 Kawasaki S2 350 triple. Clear Indiana title. VIN# S2F-18639 Engine# S2E-18753. Complete minus speedometer. Mileage unkown, has sat in a garage untouched since the late 1980s and will need restored or refreshed. All original bike with all original parts. Engine  turns over free and shifts in and out of gear.  Brakes are in working condition. Has rust in areas and seat is torn. Good restoration project. With the new Concours, Kawi created its first traction control system. Unlike the ABS, the rider can disable or enable KTRC, and can do so on the fly. The new TC system isn’t level selectable, like, say, Ducati’s DTC, and it isn’t intended to allow a rider to go faster on their Connie.

Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries

American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.

The Best Racetrack You’ve Never Heard Of

Last week I had the opportunity to ride one of the best tracks in the world, but you’ve probably never heard of it. It’s called the Autopolis International Racing Course and is located in northern Kyushu, Japan, a 90-minute bus ride from the nearest city, Kumamoto. Autopolis is a wonderfully flowing, 2.9-mile track that rises and falls like a symphonic overture, with inclines that range up to 7.2% uphill, 10% downhill.
