250r W Customized Paint, Exhaust, And Lights Excellent Condition on 2040-motos
Kawasaki Ninja tech info
Kawasaki Ninja description
I have added roughly about three thousand dollars of customized equipment and paint to the bike. Its has a little more added speed than most other 250R's because the exhaust was replaced with an aftermarket one and it has also deepened the roar of the bike. Meaning it sounds more like a 500 or 600 rather than an electric scooter. I have added aftermarket mirrors with turn signals on each backside of the mirror. This allows traffic coming against you to see which route you plan on taking. The mirrors are a flex fit type (my own verbal tech, not actual terminology) meaning they move up, down, side-to-side, and rotate in almost a full 360 degree rotation. A lift/ lowering kit comes with the bike too. I am vertically challenged and wanted to make sure the bike was good size for me so I added a 5inch lowering kit. Help's out a lot when your a new rider.
All in all the bike is in excellent shape and I have no doubt in my mind the bike is a snag!

Kawasaki J Electric Three-Wheeler Concept Revealed in Tokyo
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Kawasaki revealed a new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show that appears to combine a rowing machine, a Tron Lightcycle and Yamaha‘s Tesseract leaning four-wheeler concept. Dubbed the Kawasaki J, the concept vehicle is an electric-powered three-wheeler that can change its shape to suit either a sportier or a more comfortable riding position. Instead of handlebars, the rider grabs a pair of hand grips that each connect directly to one of the two front wheels via two long levers.
K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks
Mon, 21 May 2012K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The cartridge kits have compression and rebound adjustment in both legs and are supplied with 1.5mm Flow Control Valves for a more accurate adjustment, all necessary hardware is supplied to convert the Big Piston Forks to take the cartridges but it is necessary to order the springs you require as these are not included, customer price for the 25SSK cartridges is £725.00 + VAT and are available for the following models:- Honda CBR1000RR 2012 Kawasaki ZX6-R 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX10-R 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR600 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR1000 2009-2012 Contact K-Tech on: +44(0)1283 559007.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success
Mon, 29 Jul 2013AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.
