Within 24 hours of the auction’s end the winning bidder MUST contact us as well as make an immediate non-refundable $500 deposit through PayPal. Please do not bid unless you plan to do this. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours of the auction ending, the vehicle WILL be put back up for sale. Full payment must be made within 3 days of auction close and Certified Bank Check, Cash, or Wire Transfer are the only accepted methods of payment for balance. After close of sale, the winning bidder will not be allowed to decide if he or she wants the vehicle. All decisions must be made prior to bidding. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.
Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.
Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT
Thu, 30 Jun 2011Kawasaki is issuing a recall on the 2011 Vulcan Classic LT tourer due to a risk of damage to the tires’ inner tubes. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the inner tubes on some Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT models may become pinched near the valve stem during mounting. In some cases, this may result in a loss of air pressure.
