Kawasaki Ninja description

Hi, I'm selling my 2013 Stardust White Kawasaki Ninja 300. The reason I'm selling the bike is because we have too many vehicles, and it's becoming an expense. Bought the bike for the fuel economy and because it's faster, better looking, and more fun than both the Honda CBR250R and Ninja 250R.Adult owned, first and only owner. The bike has never been dropped or anything, stays garaged most of the time, and has seen mostly freeway miles to and from work. This is a great bike, and won't be easily outgrown like the 250s if you decide to buy this as a starter. A CBR250R redlines at 88 mph, the Ninja 300 at that speed still has another 5000 rpms before redline and can go past 100 mph, meaning driving freeway speeds is easier on the engine and saves more fuel when riding a 300, and that it's much faster.Information on the bike and everything included-Stardust White color-3410 mis, (3409 when I took the images)-gets around 65 miles-per-gallon normally and around 90-100 miles-per-gallon when rode in ECO mode on the freeway-5 yr warranty: 1 yr manufacturer's warranty and $900 4 yr extension on all parts minus regular servicing. This is a huge money saver, any part that goes bad is replaced free of charge, for example fork seals go bad quite often here in AZ and cost $400 to replace, but under the warranty they're free.- Delkevic Carbon Fiber exhaust slip-on. Very loud, louder than a 600. Here's a vid of the actual bike with slipon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0M2iJm1BUHk- the tiny extras like tank pad and reflective wheel strip.-ECU Upgrade, this is a free Kawasaki service so anyone claiming it's an aftermarket upgrade that raises the price of the bike is scamming you, and I've seen plenty of people trying it here on craiglist.-Very cheap on insurance. Just to show you here are my monthly payments for full coverage: 2008 Ducati 848 $198/month, 2012 Kawasaki ZX6-R $198/month, 2008 Saturn Sky $162/month, 2006 Toyota Sienna $59/month, and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 for only $46/month. That's extremely cheap.-included is a medium sized Scorpion EXO helmet with mirror reflective visor-a white Speed and Strength armored all weather jacket that's ventilated for the summer and has a removable inner lining for the winter.-medium sized Joe Rocket gloves. My asking price for everything altogether is $5500 which is a steal considering the other sellers on craigslist who are asking for the same price are not including any extras, upgrades, gear, or warranty and some of them have dropped their bikes. (yes i checked the competition before pricing my bike). If interested, shoot me a text at. No test rides if you don't have cash in hand and/or if you don't have a motorcycle permit/license. I will not take any trades.

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

Do WSB bikes need fake headlights?

Mon, 02 Jul 2012

Next year's WSB bikes must carry fake headlight stickers to make them look like their road-going equivalents – and Kawasaki previewed the new look at yesterday's race at Aragon. The idea is to add to WSB's road bike links and to further distinguish the bikes from the latest breed of CRT MotoGP machines. However, it means adding meaningless stickers on a large and potentially valuable acreage of prime sponsorship space on the bike's nose, with much of the rest already taken up by the rider's number; not necessarily a good thing when money is already hard to find in international racing.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Kawasaki J300 Scooter Debuts at EICMA

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

At the 2013 EICMA show, Kawasaki revealed more details about the new J300, the brand’s first scooter designed for European markets. Join our Kawasaki J300 Forum Developed with Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco, the J300 scooter is powered by a 299cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, likely the same motor equipped on the Kymco Downtown 300i which claims an output of 29.5 hp and 18.1 ft-lb. The J300 may have some Kymco DNA but there are some distinct features that mark it as a Kawasaki.
