Up for sale is my 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 650R Streetfighter. I bought this bike early last year; it has been an extremely reliable commuter, canyon carver, and sport tourer.

This is the bulletproof Kawasaki 650 parallel twin (also used in the Versys) with a linear torque curve and power throughout the entire range.

The oil & filter have been changed religiously with Full Synthetic (JASO-MA Approved) every 3K miles. I've flushed and changed the antifreeze, twice in the past year as a good measure. The valves are within spec, and she starts up from cold the first time every time.

The bike has a new air filter and DID chain & sprocket set (front & rear), less than a week old.
Brakes recently inspected. Tires are in good shape, soft and sticky.

Special Features:
Lights: LED turn and tail, Round HID headlight.
Exterior: Aftermarket Matte Black finish
Exhaust: Aftermarket exhaust can
Levers: Shorty Adjustable aluminum levers
Mirrors: Aftermarket Folding Convex bar end
Bars: Aluminum Dirtbike style bars (with cross-brace)
GasCap: Keyless 1/4 turn aluminum quick release

This is the best looking, best condition, best value Ninja 650 out there. Period.

This bike would make a fantastic commuter, canyon carver, or track bike. Also for sale locally.

Serious inquiries only. Thanks for looking.

Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.

Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
