2000 KAWASAKI NINJA 500R
SALVAGE BIKE/REBUILDER BIKE
THIS BIKE HAS BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN LAID DOWN ON THE RIGHT SIDE, BUT ALSO HAS SCRATCHES ON THE LEFT SIDE. IT HAS A NICE AFTERMARKET PIPE ON IT, WHICH HAS SOME SCRATCHES. THE BRAKE PEDAL IS BENT, SO THE BREAKS ARE NOT FUNCTIONAL. THE FRONT FENDER IS CRACKED. THE GAS TANK HAS A SMALL DENT ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THERE IS A BIT OF STICKER RESIDUE AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE PICTURES, BUT THAT DOES COME OFF. THE ENGINE COVER ON THE RIGHT SIDE IS MISSING. ALL OF THE FORKS AND THE SUSPENSION SEEM TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
Villopoto to Enter World Motocross Championship
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Four-time consecutive AMA Superbike Champion Ryan Villopoto is ready to move on to the next stage of his career, signing on to represent Kawasaki in the World Motocross Championship in 2015. Villopoto will race in the newly- christened MXGP class. Formerly known as the MX1 class, MXGP allows 450cc four-stroke machines and 250cc two-strokes.
Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island
Mon, 17 Feb 2014Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
