Kawasaki KZ1100 A2 Shaft description

Simply perfect. 1982' KZ1100 shaft with super bars,  Kerker header, Individual air pods, Brand new tires, Air shocks with adjustable dampeners. 1,300 miles on top end rebuild done professionally by retro bike shop (Checkered past) Im very picky about my vehicles, the paint is 35 years old and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Everything works perfect but there is an issue that just arose with the speedo needle bouncing around at speeds over 50. I have all the stock parts. Air box, handle bars, stock exhaust which has no rust either. Seat pan has NO rust, Bike has NO rust. Bike starts within 2 seconds of turning over, choke works perfect and believe it or not the bike is not cold blooded as most Kawi's are since the rebuild. I purchased 10 years ago from old feller that had a wind sheild on it and stored it on plywood and coated it with wd-40 every winter. Bike Blue Books at 2,300.00. Im selling because im a little older now and just like to go fast in the Stang and i need a new work vehicle since my sable seized up last week. very fast bike, these were the crotch rockets of the late 70's early 80's and they ruled the road.  The milage listed is the miles on the top end rebuild, the miles on the bike itself is  42,256

Speed and Fuel TV to Broadcast Kawasaki’s Zero to Hero Challenge Starting This Week

Tue, 14 Aug 2012

Early this year, thousands of drag racers chased the dream and entered Kawasaki’s nationally-promoted “Zero to Hero Challenge,” hoping for the opportunity to face-off against multi-time champion Rickey Gadson and take home a new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. Beginning this week, Speed and Fuel TV will broadcast the Zero to Hero Challenge across several time slots. Both cable networks will treat viewers to an inside look at the process all contestants went through on their way to challenging Gadson on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway drag strip in May.

WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report

Mon, 13 May 2013

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.

2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Makes North American Debut in Canada

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

As we’ve previously reported, the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 will not be imported to the U.S, but it will be available in North America in Canada as a 2012 model. Kawasaki Canada presented the Versys 1000 at its display at this past weekend’s North American International Motorcycle Supershow in Toronto, for the new “adventure sport” model’s debut on this side of the Atlantic. While he can’t speak for Kawasaki USA’s decision making, Bob Calwell, district manager for Kawasaki Canada, he does note that the Canadian company does have a history of making different product selections.
