Kawasaki KX description
I have for sale a 1992 Kawasaki KX500. This is a very clean
bike in good mechanical condition with no leaks or issues. The
carburetor was just cleaned and the transmission oil was just changed.
It has new fork seals, a new brake lever, new spark plug, new grips and the top end was
recently rebuilt. It starts right up and runs strong with great
compression and tons of power. No cracks or damage on the engine or the
frame. The front wheel has a ding, and there are a couple dents on the
pipe. I
have too many bikes so this one needs to go. This bike is loaded with
aftermarket parts.

A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

Wed, 02 Jan 2013The Royal Malaysian Police has upgraded its motorcycle patrol squad with a fleet of police-spec 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250 sportbikes. The law agency’s Unit Rondaan Bermotosikal (Malaysian for motorcycling patrol unit) will receive 1000 units of the Ninja 250 which received a substantial update for 2013. Essentially, it’s the same as the Kawasaki Ninja 300 with ABS and fuel injection but with a 249cc engine.
