Kawasaki KX description

This bike started life as a 2007 KX250F  and the frame was modified and a 2002 kx250af two stroke engine was put in. All the work was performed by LCS racing in Garland Texas. The bike was built by Lucky and his Son Jeremy. Built for Jeremy to showcase and ride, the  engine was completely rebuilt top to bottom. New crank, all new seals,  the cylinder was recoated and new top end. The cases have been thermal coated and could be easily removed by sandblasting them, it just helps keep the heat out of the cases. It features a  Hinson clutch basket  and new plates. The top end currently has 5 hours on it and since rebuild. Jeremy only rode part of the season on this bike  who is  a vet. Rider.    Lcs revavled the suspension and it's currently sprung for a 190 lb. rider  the bike runs extremely strong and less expensive to rebuild then your typical four strokes. Mon, 14 Nov 2011

Interesting motorcycles you probably didn't see1 of 11Next Last There’s no cave deep, mountain high or rock heavy enough to have thwarted news of Ducati’s 1199 Panigale superbike launch at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. What we’ve comprised below is our list Top 10 Bikes unveiled at EICMA that didn’t receive top billing but are certainly worthy of your attention.

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
