Looks good from a distance but up close you can see its not a professional paint job and has flaws. the left side tank fairing is cracked, the side fairing plastic, not the tank itself. blinkers need to be connected (one bad connection) no gauges or handle bar pad Chain is a bit rusty from sitting but still does the job sold with brand new carbon fiber hand guards (not pictured) The bike is far from perfect cosmetically, but it is in excellent mechanical condition. Turn the key and ride. This is my 4th KLR and this has TONS more power than the others. Its an absolute blast to ride. last ridden 12/13/16 mostly on road use as a commuter, but does very well in the dirt as well. Kawasaki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Kawasaki reported a 8.7% decrease in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The motorcycle and engine division (which includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines) generated sales of 59.8 billion yen (US$775.4 million) , a decrease from the 65.5 billion yen (US$848.9 million) reported from the same period last year. Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a profit of 9.56 billion yen (US$123.8 million) over the quarter, compared to a profit of 5.88 billion yen (US$76.2 million) reported last year.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Sure Sidecar TT 2 Results
Thu, 05 Jun 2014Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.
