Up for sale is a 1974 kawasaki h1 500 motorcycle. Clear title. Built in 4/75. Frame # H1F-46251. Engine # KAE- 116263. Does not run. Has been sitting since the 1990's. Motor turns over with compression. 33,861 miles. No broken fins on motor. Speedometer gauge has a scrape. Tab welded to the back of the frame (see picture).Chrome shows pitting/ Rust. Good Project. The popular Irish road race that takes place along the 37.3-mile Snaefell Mountain Course is known for its high speeds, courageous riders and the fact that it’s held entirely on public roads. Perhaps a more outrageous race is the North West 200.

There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.

MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.
