Kawasaki GpZ550 description

Please bid only if truly interested in purchasing this bike.

This GPz550 is pretty much complete. It will need some work to bring it out of moth balls or use as a parts bike or Vintage racing. The engine spins.  It is in very good physical condition but will need the typical cleaning of the fuel system and flushing the fluids out. I have never had it running so I know little more than I have told you here..
Carbs? I have no idea as I have not opened them up. This bike is just too nice to part.

If this bike does not sell then I will be parting it out. Just thought it was too nice for that so I am giving anyone with the talent to repair a chance to own it.

PAPERWORK: ....NO PAPERWORK.. NO PAPERWORK... BILL OF SALE ONLY....

Take a look at the pictures that were just taken, If you need some other shots just let me know. I will include some more pictures soon.

NOTE:   IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 POSITIVE EBAY FEEDBACKS, YOU MUST CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING, OR I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR BID.  THIS IS DUE TO NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH LOW FEEDBACK BIDDERS.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.

ZX-10R. Worth the weight?

Thu, 18 Nov 2010

The whisper on pit lane is that 2011 will be a good year for the green K. Our moles within the racing circles tell us that apart from more power and less weight (always handy), the new ZX-10R's main advantage is not these two factors but rather its improved weight distribution, weight transference qualities and grip levels. Studying Tom Syke's lap time data from Kawasaki's public test sessions it seems it's much easier for him to maintain consistent fast lap times back-to-back over the whole range of tyre degradation and fuel load changes.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
