FOR SALE: 2008 KTM 250SX runs well, very fast & has lots of power. It has a lot of aftermarket and extra parts, including FMF fatty pipe, turbine core spark arrested silencer, titanium two race silencer and stock silencer, misc. jets and power valve springs, moose racing bark buster hand guards, KTM racing handlebar pad, moose front fork air bleeders, KTM quarter turn aluminum gas cap, stock and oversized gas tanks, aftermarket KTM triple clamps, WP Suspension, Hydraulic clutch, Factory Effex TC4 traction control seat cover, MSR Hydraulic clutch guard, Pro taper pillow top grips, iridium spark plug, brake saver, bolt pack, ASV F1 forged flex clutch lever, triangle and lift stand. Good maintenance, air filter every ride, oil changed regularly. Bike was gone through last winter (2012/2013) and was not rode very much this summer. The annual Hare Scramble is the culminating event of the 18th Erzberg Rodeo at Austria’s Erzberg “Iron Mountain”. The Red Bull Hare Scramble attracted 1800 entries this year from 35 countries.
Rok Bagoros' stunt KTM 690 Duke
Thu, 26 Apr 2012KTM's official stunt rider Rok Bagoros has stepped up from his 125 Duke to this factory prepared 690 Duke. However, as seen in this video, his first test on the bike hasn't been plain sailing. Chatting with me about his new bike this morning, Rok said: "The 690 Duke goes like a rocket in comparison to a Japanese bike, it has a lot of torque and really good power in the low revs." When asked about his first ride on the 690 Duke, after being at home with the 125cc machine in his stunt shows over the past year, he added: "I have to really respect this bike, because it throws me around like a mad bull.
FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013
Tue, 19 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.
