2006 KTM Smr 450, Up for grabs is a 2006 KTM 450 SMR. I just re-titled it for the street on 11/05/13 so I'm waiting for the title in the mail, but once it arrives it will be clean and free. It has a clean bill of health from Hinshaws Motorcycle in Auburn, WA. If you want I can give you the shop number and you can talk to the tech that did the most recent work on it. From my last conversation with the guy, he said the bike is super clean and runs very well. The bike will also come with a race kick stand, motorcycle jack, a set of race plastics. -Keihin 41MM carb -Glafer DOT Lines -12v system and upgraded stator -Trail Tech Endurance II speedo -Tusk LED lights -Full Akrapovic Exhaust Any other questions let me know, I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability. I'm willing to deliver to the greater Puget Sound area for free. I'll go further if you throw in for diesel... $3,900.00

Used Review: Arai Corsair

Fri, 01 Jan 2010

The comfort of Arai’s lids in the upper range are, for me, beyond compare. I’ve spent the last two years wearing this lid, and, just my luck, I crashed the first time I wore it. Chasing a Fireblade down the Brands Hatch straight, his engine blew sending me and the RC8 I was (briefly) on, sliding across his oil towards the gravel.

Why KTM's sport 350 is a good idea

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

KTM were unlucky when their plans were leaked (for covert market research?). Amongst those listed was the forecast for a Moto3 350. Now it is unlikely that the Moto3 class is going to grow from 250 to 350 by 2014, unless KTM are aware of something that the MotoGP rule-makers aren't.

Having a blast on the KTM Duke 125

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

With young Taylor finally lifting my riding ban from his 125 Duke last week (I snapped the gear lever off in a failed garden stunt), I’ve been clocking up a few miles on what surely is the ‘must have’ learner bike of 2011. Last week I hopped aboard for a jaunt into the heart of Leicester where you can still park bikes for free then walk to all the major shops in minutes. I needed to appear in person at the main Post Office for an International Driving Permit as I found out without one; I couldn’t drive during my trip up coming trip to the Japanese Grand Prix.
