KTM Other description

For sale is my 2013 KTM 450 XC-W. Yes, I love this bike, but there is more than 1 reason why I have to sell. It has 34.5 hours of run time to be exact. Oil/filter has been changed and air filter cleaned after every ride. Suspension springs have been changed for 200lb rider . I will also give you the stock springs , Included with the bike is a KTM plastic skid plate, KTM hard parts seat , fasst flexx bars , scotts under the bar steering damper , ride eng triple clamps , Probend aluminum barkbusters with KTM deflectors. Th bike is Titled and Registered in ALABAMA AND IT DOES HAVE A TAG . You can get the registration transferred to you easily - I have the title . This is NOT easy to do in Alabama for this bike ....so that's worth a bit IMO.I've got $9500 invested, asking $7,500 Bike is at Big O's cycles in clanton if you would like to stop by and check it out , Happy to talk about the bike over the phone -. Thanks. Also, I will post SOLD on this listing promptly once it sells. Until then, assume it is available.

EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 KTM 690 Duke

Mon, 31 Oct 2011

KTM has released a video teasing its redesigned 690 Duke, which is set to make its debut at the 2011 EICMA show. The 2012 690 Duke will be powered by what KTM claims is the world’s most powerful Single-cylinder engine in production, with output expected to be close to 70hp. Updates include a side-mounted exhaust instead of the previous version’s underslung silencer, ABS, ride-by-wire throttle and weight savings from a new manufacturing process for the structural fairing and subframe.

Under the Skin of a KTM RC8 R-Powered Sidecar Racer

Thu, 23 May 2013

If you’ve never seen a sidecar race, you’d be amazed at how different it is from motorcycle racing. Not only do you have some entirely different physics at work with the third wheel, you also have a passenger sprawled over the chassis behind the rider, sticking his body out to either side at lean angles that would make Marc Marquez break a sweat. Check out the video after the jump to see for yourself.
