This bike comes with a TITLE

Very rare bike in almost all original condition. This was KTM's motocross bike, with an ever so slightly larger fuel tank and a lighting coil ignition for cross country racing. Very few of these were made and even fewer still imported into USA. Basically, these were KTM's version of the Husqvarna 'XC' line of bikes. Bike runs extremely well and is a 1-kick starter. Has huge compression and very fat spark. Water pump area needed some attention due to typical corrosion, so we sourced and installed a very good condition used side case with an excellent water pump area, and it now has all new seals & impeller. White Power (WP) suspension is superb; quite possibly the best in the world at that time. All original plastics (new UFO replica rear fender), new seat cover, new Oury grips, excellent original pipe & silencer, original wheels are excellent, Renthal aluminum bars w/cloth bar pad, Magura controls, White Power shock and WP inverted forks (all excellent). All graphics are original. Tires are used but still very good. Bike was just serviced with all new fluids along with a new foam Uni filter, and is now ready to race. Brakes were bled with new oil. Overall an extremely fast race bike in very good shape for it's age. TITLED

When I received this bike it was in used condition. Bike was sent to my restorer for a freshening up and all systems were serviced and functional, along with a minor cosmetic upgrade. Bike is sold in used and as-is condition with no warrantees or guarantees of any kind offered. This is a used vintage off road racing motorcycle that has been 'semi-restored', but buyer must know there will still be items needed to replace or correct by buyer, prior to buyer riding or racing this machine.

Report: KTM 390 Duke to Launch at EICMA

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

KTM and Bajaj Auto will launch a new 375cc member of is entry-level Duke lineup, reports Indian site Zigwheels. Previous reports had KTM developing a 350 Duke as an extension of its 125 and 200 Duke (pictured above) family. The 350 Duke was also listed on a leaked Powerpoint slide from a North American dealer meeting we published in February, so this new model may be the first of the small-displacement Duke family to make it to the U.S.
