KTM EXC description

SELLING: My 2012 KTM 500EXC. This terrific bike has just over 1400 miles. It's been well maintained and has brand new set of Dunlop 606 tires and a new battery.
Among the few tasteful upgrades are FMF Q4 exhaust, Ohlins Steering Dampener, Billet Kickstand, Aluminum skid plate and Factory hand guards. I've also added an Acerbis oversized fuel tank that adds and extra gallon.
There are normal signs of use for a 4 year old bike such as scuffs on the hand guards and plastics, but it's always been respectfully ridden and never abused. I'm a 50 year old rider with a bad wrist, which is the reason I've decided to sell it. Bike comes with a clean Florida Title, two sets of keys and factory manual.
Please check out my ALWAYS 100% feedback and buy with confidence and email any questions you may have. Zero or low feedback buyers please make contact with me BEFORE bidding. Thank you. GK.

Note: Garmin GPS mount is not included and bike is for sale locally so listing may end at any time.

Just Another Duke in the KTM line-up

Sun, 23 Aug 2015

In one of KTM's branded parking lots in Europe, a disguised motorcycle was spotted with a new engine, the estimated volume of which is 800 cm3. It seems that the Austrians are working on a plan for a serious attack on the road segment in 2016. The motorcycle looks like the Duke series.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
