KTM Adventure description

2004 KTM ADVENTURE 'S'.
Absolutely superb condition, 5300 miles.
Looks, rides and feels like a brand new bike. Never spent a night out of the garage!
Bone stock with the plusher, longer travel 'S' WP suspension.
Carbureted, this is the best on/off road adventure bike ever made.
It’s the closest version of the Adventure, that KTM made, to Meoni’s Dakar winning bike. Just ask Jimmy Lewis!
I also own the non 'S' bike (not for sale) which is my favorite bike ever.  The 'S' bike feels quicker and is much better off road but it's just two tall for my 5'7"size.
The only flaw on this bike, which is cosmetic, is the bubbly tank decal.
The earlier bikes are susceptible to gas fumes bleeding through the plastic so the tank graphic has been trimmed. This imperfection is only noticeable close up.
Brand new Pirelli Scorpion tires and a full service 250 miles ago.
Comes with the KTM frames and Hepco Becker grey panniers.

An outstanding example, probably the nicest stock 950 'S' out there.
Absolutely no disappointments with this bike.

May be interested in a 990 SMR partial trade.
I also have a superb 1290 Superduke for sale and a very nice 1989 KTM 500 DXC also excellent and ready to race Mx or desert.
These bikes will be listed shortly.

KTM Developing Faired and Touring Versions of 390 Duke

Mon, 03 Dec 2012

KTM has carved out a niche recently in the small-displacement streetbike market with its Duke lineup of naked motorcycles. First came the 125 Duke, then the 200 Duke, and more recently unveiled at EICMA, the 390 Duke, which we hope will be the first in the family to make it to the U.S. All three little Dukes have similar chassis and streetfighter styling, with the engine displacement being the main difference between them.

2015 KTM EXC Enduro Lineup Revealed

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

KTM revealed its 2015 Enduro range, including both two-stroke and four-stroke EXC models. The updates to the 2015 EXC lineup are mostly minor, as KTM saw little that needed improvement on the machines that won the Enduro World Championship E1 and E3 class, EnduroCross, SuperEnduro, and International Six Days Enduro overall titles, not to mention a number of X-Games gold medals. The 2015 range consists of the four-stroke 250 EXC-F, 350 EXC-F, 450 EXC and 500 EXC while two-stroke engines power the 125 EXC, 200 EXC, 250 EXC and 300 EXC.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Anaheim I Results

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

Ryan Villopoto picked up where he left off while Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross podium as the season kicked off in Anaheim, Calif. Reigning champion and Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Villopoto took the holeshot and led all 20 laps to win the Anaheim I season opener by over 12 seconds ahead of Chad Reed‘s TwoTwo Motorsports Honda. “Villopoto made us look silly out here tonight,” says Reed.
