I purchased this bike in late 2005 on eBay with hopes of adding lights etc and getting it titled and registered, but this never worked out, first because the wiring harness I bought never would fit, and second I had some life events that ended my riding shortly afterwards. The bike has been in storage ever since. It's more than time to sell now. It would not start at first. I found the ohm measurements for the ignition coil to be out of spec and installed new coil. It still is hard to start when cold. Once running it runs great, and starts back up with one kick. I have only ridden a few times in neighborhood due to no plates. Pulls powerfully and running well. Because of hard cold starting, probably some tune up or adjustment is needed. If I were going to be riding it I'd replace all fluids and might replace chain, there are some rust spots but doesn't appear to affect function. Tires looked great to me with no weight on the bike even though I didn't add air all this time, but in video I can see the air looks low. Having held as much air as they did all this time, I'm sure they'll hold further air when added now, I just didn't see the issue without my weight on bike. I don't know how many hours or tanks of gas the previous owner ran the bike, I didn't ask as it was a 2005 bike when I bought later that same year. Engine sounds fine, valve clearance was good (checked it when it was not wanting to start.) Comes with both black and orange gas tanks, rear fenders, and number plates if you want both, or whichever colors you want. Bodachs on bikes
Wed, 21 Aug 2013With the Gaelic for ‘old man’ being Bodach it was only right we call our annual has been Scottish Racers run out 'Bodachs on Bikes'. The gang now includes names from the past like Morrison, MacPherson, Simpson and Duffus with a Robert Burns and Big Gordo thrown in for good measure. Island hopping was on the agenda this time round, so for £60 we acquired a Caledonian Macbrayne Hopscotch ticket allowing us three ferry crossings between the mainland, Skye and Lewis. Having heard lots of good stuff about the new KTM 1190 Adventure I thought this could be the perfect bike for the journey so managed to book Loughborough’s Redline KTM’s demo out for a week. My first stint was an uneventful 400 miles north but with an average of 250 miles range per tank and 80s club classics on the i pod it felt like I was there in no time. I also kept myself amused scrolling through the easy to navigate countless combinations of engine performance, traction/anti wheelie and suspension settings clearly displayed on the dash. There seems to be a setting for everyone; luggage or no luggage, big guy or small guy, brave or scared ( no rider aids or full rider aids). After assembling in the holiday town of Helensburgh on day two, we rode up around the coast on the A82, A85 and A828 to Ballachulish. A quick puddle jump across Loch Linnhe then saw us heading round the A861 to Strontian before going north to Mallaig.
2012 KTM Freeride 350 Deliveries Begin

Unfortunately, those of us in North America have to wait a while longer, with the infamous leaked Powerpoint slide from KTM’s dealer meeting listing the Freeride 350 as part of its 2013 offerings. Still, we can’t help but be captivated by the photograph above released by KTM.
KTM Turns up the Heat in Milan

For that reason, I thought I would highlight some of the more noteworthy models shown at the EICMA show in Milan, starting with KTM. KTM is getting ready to race next year with the RC8 R, a superbike, which they unveiled in Milan this week.
